That’s right, you heard me correct. Think of it this way, your skin is the largest organ on your body so whatever you slather on it is being absorbed into your bloodstream, your organs & basically your whole being. Think about that for a second. So what exactly are we supposed to do? We have had the fear of the sun put into us from every marketing campaign, dermatologist and yahoo out there. First off we need to stop fearing the sun, it’s not the bad guy here. Don’t get me wrong i’m not saying lets go slather on some oil and bath in the sun…or am i? Well if that oil is coconut oil then maybe I am! I had heard rumors of coconut oil being used as sunscreen, I have to admit I was sceptical at first but of course I had to look into it right?
